Read update →Galax Christian School exists to partner with families and the church in raising up servant-leaders to know, love, and serve God — integrating biblical truth with all learning, cultivating Christlike character through Spirit-filled living, and equipping students to fulfill the Great Commission for the glory of God.
"We Exist to Fulfill the Great Commission."
Partnership in discipleship, Spirit-filled servant leadership, love for God, growth in Christlike character, discernment through a biblical worldview, and excellence for God's glory.
We partner with families and the church, recognizing that discipleship is a shared responsibility.
We equip students to lead and serve others, empowered by the Holy Spirit for God's purposes.
We guide students in growing in love for God through a deep and personal relationship with Him.
We guide students to continually grow in reflecting the character of Christ.
We train students to think biblically, discern truth, and respond with biblical wisdom.
We challenge students to pursue excellence in all things, doing all for the glory of God.
A K-12 Christian school in Grayson County, just outside the city of Galax, built on a clearly biblical worldview.
"To transform our world by inspiring leadership that thinks biblically, excels academically, and lives passionately to transform lives."
Opened in September 2022 to give families strong academics within a deeply Christian learning environment.
Galax Christian School uses Abeka to support teacher-led classrooms, clear learning progression, and a Christian worldview across subjects.
Lesson plans, teacher editions, and guided instruction help keep each school day clear and well paced.
Students revisit important ideas regularly so skills stay fresh and learning builds from simple to more complex.
Subjects are taught with biblical truth in view so students grow in both knowledge and conviction.
Real moments from our students — volleyball nights, project fairs, the spring program, and graduation day.

We are fully accredited!
We believe in the value of Christian education for each child — and we work with every family to make it possible.
The true cost of a GCS education is far more than what families pay. Through the generosity of our donors and our scholarship programs, the average family invests about $375 a month for their first child, ten months a year.
Every family's situation is different — ask about rates for additional children. We will prayerfully consider each family's commitment along with the scholarships we can provide; the best next step is a conversation.
